Frequently Asked Questions

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or short-notice cancellations, will incur a 50% charge of the total fee (the remaining balance may be refunded).
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations without notice will be charged 100% of the total fee.
  • Private clients:
    Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Aged Care (HCP ) and NDIS (self-managed plan):
    Payment arrangements are flexible and can be organised in advance.
  • Payment methods:
    Secure credit payments are accepted via Square.
    Bank transfer and PayPal are available upon request.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing.
  • Shorts or loose clothing are ideal. You will always be properly draped to ensure privacy and comfort.
Massage may not be suitable if you have:
  • Recently had surgery
  • Infectious or contagious skin conditions
  • Open wounds or acute inflammation
  • Fever or severe illness
If you are unsure, please contact us before booking.
  • Pregnancy massage is suitable for natural birth recovery once you feel comfortable.
  • After a C-section, we recommend waiting 10–12 weeks before full body massage.
  • Gentle treatments for the head, hands, arms, and feet can be provided earlier if appropriate.
Yes. I am a qualified and fully insured Remedial Massage Therapist with experience supporting Aged Care and NDIS participants.

A brief session note is completed after each appointment, with reports or summaries available upon request to support coordinated care.
We are registered with most major private health funds.
  • A receipt will be provided for you to claim directly with your health fund.
  • Please note: Only Remedial Massage is claimable under private health insurance.

No special preparation is required.

We recommend having a quiet, comfortable space available for your treatment.

Yes. We bring a fully equipped portable massage table, clean linens, oils, and relaxing music — everything needed for your session.
For seniors or clients with limited mobility, treatments can also be provided on a bed or in a wheelchair, as appropriate.
For your first session, your therapist will complete an intake form (either online in advance or on arrival) and discuss your health history and treatment goals to ensure safe and effective care.
Most clients feel very relaxed and comfortable immediately after the massage.
Some may experience mild aching or soreness in certain areas for up to a day, which is normal and usually resolves quickly.
Overall, the majority of clients feel refreshed and rejuvenated after their session.
